Sitges is probably one of our favorite event destinations. We’ve just completed a 3-day onboarding conference for 180 Microsoft attendees at the Melia Hotel. The property sits only a few blocks off the coast with amazing views. When our clients arrived, we planned a sail excursion followed by dining along the water eating all the local favorites.
About 20 minutes walking distance from the hotel you will find a charming little town with lots of restaurants and shops. It was great for our participants in the evening when they wanted to venture out.
We especially liked the tapas restaurants that displayed plates of variety. Garlic shrimp, ham and cheese toast, empanadas and so much more. Each had a toothpick and was self-serve. You would select the bites you want and at the end collect all your toothpicks and that would be how you settle your tab. We look forward to planning more events in Sitges.
