North Events was recently given the opportunity to work with a client to plan and design their outdoor space for its upcoming unveiling event in Dallas. The focus was the grounds so we were excited to be working within a blank canvas that would allow us to bring in elements to best support the space. With the event scheduled outside for July in Texas we had to consider mosquito treatments and cooling misters as well as power and water requirements.
We’re a big advocate of supporting local and teamed with the nearby restaurants and bars providing a ‘Best of Dallas’ experience. This included cotton candy cocktails, smoking sphere drinks, a nitrogen ice cream bar and five restaurant food stations.
The event started with daylight and ended at dark which allowed us to design an entrance full of bold and bright hanging lanterns that would be insta-worthy. In the main space we added mixed highs and low furniture rentals and fun installation experiences. At night, the party transformed with passed lit colored crafted drinks and a DJ vibe. The North Events team really enjoyed planning and designing this outdoor space.
