We are fortunate to have been a part in planning an in-person event happening simultaneously in 33 different cities. Each location ranged from ten people up to thirty people. On arrival we temperature checked each staff member and attendee. Everyone was required to wear a mask. We spaced the attendees six feet apart with their own side table. Venues selected were larger than normal for groups of this size to account for the spacing parameters.
We were Covid conscious with manned beverage stations, disposable containers and individualized plates. It was very unique planning in multiple cities over a pandemic. Cases were spiking causing some cities to change their regulations around gatherings and we had to learn to adapt. For Boston, gatherings were limited to 10 people each and so we sourced two additional venues in order to host all 30 local attendees. We are happy to report the event was a success and in-person events when planned safely can take place during a pandemic.
